Charles Franklin Wiltshire
(September 4, 1940 - November 14, 2011)
Funeral services for Charles Franklin "Frank" Wiltshire of Winona, formerly of
Black Hawk, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, at Poplar
Springs Baptist Church near Carrollton, with burial following in the church
cemetery. Rev. George Mims and Rev. Bryan Burson will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 17, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Lee
Funeral Home.
Mr. Wiltshire died of renal failure on Monday, November 14, at Tyler Holmes
Memorial Hospital in Winona. He was 71 years old.
Mr. Wiltshire was the son of the late J. L. and Ida Alford Wiltshire. He was
disabled and had been a resident of Winona Manor in Winona for several years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Black Hawk and was loved by
everyone who knew him.
He is survived by one sister, Barbara Mims of Greenwood; seven brothers,
William "Son" Wiltshire of Clarksdale, Malcolm "Scoot" Wiltshire, Alvin Wiltshire,
Roger Wiltshire, and Bobby Wiltshire, all of Black Hawk, Preston Wiltshire of
Greenwood, and James Wiltshire of Texas City, Texas; and numerous nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Wiltshire, Taylor Wiltshire, Ryan Wiltshire, Todd Mims,
Chris Mims, and Chad Wiltshire. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon
Wiltshire, Dr. DeWayne Gammell, and the staff of Winona Manor.
