Richard Emanuel Pogue
(October 5, 1952 - October 3, 2011)
Funeral services for Richard Emanuel Pogue of Harahan, Louisiana, will
be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, at Oliver Chapel, with burial
following in the Huntsville Church of Christ Cemetery near French Camp.
Mr. Craig Owen will officiate the services.
Visitation will be on Saturday, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m., at Oliver Funeral
Home.
Mr. Pogue died of heart failure on Monday, October 3, at Tulane University
Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was 58 years old.
Mr. Pogue was the son of the late Noel Manuel and Carolyn Malone
Pogue. He was a carpenter and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his sister, Sherron Pogue of River Ridge, LA; and two
brothers, Michael Pogue and Phillip Pogue, both of Harahan, LA; and three
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bill Herring, Brooks Jones, Darrell Pogue, Steven
Nixon, Blake Herring, and David Menhel.
