Jewel Ingram
(April 24, 1920 - January 24, 2012)

Funeral services for Mr. Jewel Ingram of Kilmichael will be at 11:00 a.m. on
Thursday, January 26, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church near Kilmichael,
with Rev. Brad Herod and Rev. Tony Black officiating.  Burial will be in the
Poplar Springs Cemetery with military honors at graveside.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver
Funeral Home.

Mr. Ingram died of heart failure at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in
Winona on Tuesday, January 24.  He was 91 years old.

Mr. Ingram was the son of the late Robert and Stella Tompkins Ingram and
the widower of the late Lera Burns Ingram.  He was a retired carpenter and
farmer and a former employee of Screw Conveyor Corporation in Winona.  
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.  In addition to his wife and
parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

Survivors are his five daughters, Linda Rogers of Winona, Sue Stidham of
Winona, Betsy Dees of Cascilla, Kay Chapman of Canton, and Jan Ingram
Reeves of Poplar Creek; one son, Bobby Ingram of Winona; ten
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nephews.

Pallbearers will be Terry Thomas, Greg Tompkins, Clint Tompkins, Jeff
Tompkins, Larry Castle, and Gale Rogers.  Honorary pallbearers will be
Amy Blaylock, Joni Henderson, and Jarvis
and Maxine Cummings.
