Juanita Ballard
(May 30, 1922 - December 4, 2011)
Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Ballard of Kilmichael will be at 2:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, December 7, at Oliver Chapel in Winona, with burial following in
the Community Baptist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael. Rev. Tony Black
and Rev. Randy Dees will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Oliver
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ballard died at University Medical Center in Jackson on Sunday,
December 4. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Ballard was the daughter of the late Charlie and Fannie Gordon Ramage
and the widow of the late Elvie Lee "Pap" Ballard. She was a retired employee
of J. A. Olson Company in Winona. She was a member of Community Baptist
Church near Kilmichael and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Cade of West and Barbara Brewer of
Rossville, TN; one son, James "Pap" Ballard of Madison; five grandchildren;
seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Bill Cade, Charles Lowery, Glynn Downs, Josh Wilburn,
Kevin Bridges, and William Chesteen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the
Community Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1865 Highway 407, Kilmichael,
MS 39747.
