Beatrice D. Hatten
(December 29, 1927 - November 23, 2011)
Funeral services for Mrs Beatrice D. Hatten of Winona will be at 3:00 p.m.
on Sunday, November 27, at Oliver Chapel in Winona, with burial
following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. John L. Walker will
officiate the services.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 until service time, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hatten died of heart failure on Wednesday, November 23, at
Providence Personal Care Home in Grenada. She was 83 years old.
Mrs. Hatten was the daughter of the late Bill and Margarete Mock
Diamond and the widow of the late Rev. A. Lavon Hatten. She was a
homemaker and a member of North Winona Baptist Church. She was
also preceded in death by her son, James Randal Hatten.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha Britt of Winona and Deborah
Chambley of Winona; one sister, Lula Swilley of Wiggins; five
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Benji Chambley, Denny Hatten, Danny Walker, Doug
Holmes, James Britt, and A. J. Junkin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to St.
Jude Children's Research Hospital.
